Self-Employment Income Support Scheme open for applications

The Governments Self Employed Income Support Scheme is now open to applications.

The scheme is designed to match the support being given to furloughed employees and grants will be calculated as 80% of average monthly profit over a period of up to three years.

The government said the money will be paid into the accounts of eligible people six days after applying with the maximum payment being £7,500, intended to cover March, April and May.

Your tax agent or adviser cannot make the claim for you. You must make the claim yourself. If you have an agent you should contact them if you need any help or support.
