New Cathedral Quarter Loyalty Card Scheme launched

20/06/2018

The new Cathedral Quarter Loyalty scheme has now been launched helping you to save lots of money whilst shopping in the CQ area of Derby, in conjunction with a brand new website for the Cathedral Quarter BID.

During the recent renewal process businesses advised us that they would like to see a loyalty scheme continue in the BID area. Loyalty schemes can help businesses build relationships with their customers, increasing frequency of visits and improving sales.

The loyalty scheme continues to be card-based with a CQ I Work card for people who work in the Cathedral Quarter and a CQ I Love card for everybody else. The I Work card is free whilst the CQ I Love card costs £5.

Applying for a card

Applying for the cards is easy – simply follow the instructions for the appropriate card and once complete this will be delivered within ten working days. To apply for your card or to see a listing of the current offers available, please click here.

Potential benefits to your business

The new loyalty scheme will be marketed heavily providing your business with the opportunity to promote its offers more widely and to tap in to customer loyalty.

At the end of the previous BID term there were over 3700 loyalty card holders and, with the simplified application process and the inclusion of the Council House within the BID area, there is the potential for this to increase significantly. That’s a substantial audience for your business to tap into.

Promoting your offers

The more offers and discounts available and the more businesses that are involved the more attractive a proposition the card becomes. The type of offer(s) your business wishes to promote is entirely up to you.
To submit your offer simply email the BID office with the details of your offer and any expiry date (if applicable) or contact us on 01332 419053 to discuss further.
Use of the loyalty card
Businesses are asked to honour offers when a customer shows their CQ Loyalty card upon purchase. Should you wish to remove an offer at any time please notify the BID office by email and we will remove this from the website as soon as possible.
