Derby City Council have released details of a number of discounted parking incentives for the coming weeks in the lead up to Christmas.
All incentives will only be available with the MiPermit app which can be downloaded by scanning the QR code above or searching via the App Store or Google Play Store.
Saturday 16 November, 2019 – Christmas lights switch on
Offers with MiPermit only
2pm – 8pm ‘Christmas lights special’ £3 at the following locations :

2pm to 11.59am the next day ‘Christmas lights overnight ticket’ £5 at the following locations :
- Full Street
- Derwent Street
- Exeter Place
- Stuart Street
- Phoenix Street
- Queen Street
- Cathedral Road
- St Mary’s Gate
- Darwin Place car park
Friday 29 November, 2019 – Black Friday parking sale
£2.90 all day at any Council parking facility where MiPermit is accepted
Saturday 7 December, 2019 – Small business Saturday
Free parking at Abbey Street car park and Chapel Street car park
