The Great British Spring Clean takes place from 17 March – 2 April and we would love for you to help us with some of our initiatives for the event.
We are asking for volunteers to come together for the community on Tuesday 21st March, and donate some time, no matter how small, to assist us in our efforts to help make our area cleaner and smarter.
We have a number of activities planned – please get in touch if you would like to get involved via email or call 01332 419053
- Clean your windows and wipe down sills & woodwork
- Cleansing of street furniture – rinse down with jet wash
- Fly poster & sticker removal – scrub off lamp posts etc with scouring pad & soapy water
- Removal of graffiti where possible
- Weeding in paved areas
- Litter pick and separation of items into recyclable/non recyclable
- Jet wash and scrub down pavements with a broom
- Remove of out of date signage and cable ties left on lampposts
