Derby City Business Resilience Programme

Derby City Council have partnered with the East Midlands Chamber to offer Independent business in Derby City centre to offer the Derby City Business Resilience Programme. The programme is designed to help you attract new customers, drive footfall to your retail store, establish an e-commerce website, and improve visibility online.

Following the challenges of COVID-19, many businesses have been impacted, and this fully-funded support includes:
•    Review of your current marketing and social media activity with support on recommended actions
•    A search engine optimised website with an online shop feature available, including 12-month free hosting
•    Events and webinars to improve your digital knowledge and skills
•    A business advisor who can work with you providing business support or digital services
•    One year’s free membership to the East Midlands Chamber

ELIGIBILITY 

The Derby City Business Resilience (DCBR) programme is delivered by Derby City Council and the East Midlands Chamber. Support is being provided by local Derbyshire businesses, including Purpose Media, who will facilitate the design and build of your new website.

To qualify, you need to be an independent business, with a business address with a DE postcode and be trading in the following sectors:

  • high street retail, hospitality or leisure
  • train, plane or automobile supply chain

BENEFITS 

The DCBR programme is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start businesses online to offer online shopping, click and collect, or simply showcase your business.  Whether this will be your first time online or improving your current online presence, this programme will help but is only available for a limited time.
