In this facilitator led session babies aged 0-2 years old and their adults can explore a range of themes through the lens of our fabulous collections. There are opportunities to look at materials in different ways and get creative with how to play.
Suitable for children aged 0-2 with their carers.
**Please note*** we ask all participants to remove their shoes for the session, so please bring along some socks.

Why is STEAM Babies no longer free?
STEAM Babies is a popular activity at Derby Museums. Due to a rise in the number of costs and no-shows, we have implemented a £3 charge per child for STEAM Babies sessions. If you are unable to attend your booked session, please let us know by 4pm the the Wednesday before so we can cancel your place. If we are able to resell your place, we will refund your ticket. Upon arrival at the session you will be given a £3 voucher that can be redeemed against any purchase in the River Kitchen during the day of your session.
Minimum ratio of 1 adult to 2 children.
Maximum ratio of 2 adults to 1 child.
All children and adults attending this session must have a ticket. This is to ensure we can manage numbers for everyone’s safety and enjoyment.
If you or your child have any additional requirements please contact us to let us know so we can do our best to accommodate you.
If you are unable to attend please let us know. This session is very popular and by releasing your tickets you will be enabling another family to join.
