Come for a creative day learning about bag making whilst enjoying making your own Jack Tar Bag. .

Using the finest materials sustainably sourced from Merchant and Mills you shall make the lined oil cloth bag with three internal pockets. We shall discuss and practice what materials and construction techniques suit bag making. You will learn about how to insert hardware such as the bag’s leather handle, rivets and magnetic fastening snap.

You will leave this workshop with a beautiful me made bucket bag which has space for an almost infinite amount of stuff. The most useful of bags.

End timings can vary depending on the student’s sewing pace.

Who is this course for?

This is an advanced beginner friendly workshop, ideally for students with a little bit of sewing machine practice.
