Gallery Opening

In January 2022, Artcore Gallery, Shop and Café started undergoing an extensive refurbishment and we’re on track to unveil our new, modern space on the 27^th of May! Our permanent café will be bringing delicious vegetarian food freshly made in our kitchen to the people of Derby and the space will serve as meeting point for the whole community to get together.

We’ll also be unveiling brand new facilities including a lift to our Gallery and toilets on the ground floor which make Artcore Gallery now completely accessible for everyone. The exhibition space has also been enlarged and will host interactive and inspiring installations, events and showcases in the upcoming months.

Artcore Shop will once again be stocking work from local Derby and Derbyshire artists and makers as well as gifts and craft supplies. This will also serve as artist studios and makers space for artists to work and create within the building.

We cannot wait to welcome everyone back on the 27^th of May with the launch of our new exhibition Il.luminar by artists Matthew Woodham and Benjamin Shirley-Quirk in partnership with NMG. Please book your places to join us via our website.
