How do I get to the event?

We advise travelling to the event on public transport. Derby Museum & Art Gallery on The Wardwick can be accessed by using the buses listed below, and hopping off at the Wardwick stop.

Is there parking available on site?

Derby benefits from a great range of low cost car parks including the Safest Car Park in the World, Parksafe, at Bold Lane, DE1 3NT, which is just 50 metres from the Museum and Art Gallery. The car park has 350 daytime spaces and there is a charge of £4.40 for up to 4 hours. There are 11 clearly marked Blue Badge parking spaces available free of charge. This car park is open twenty four hours a day.

Derby Museums can validate parking tickets for Assembly Rooms, Chapel Street and Bold Lane car parks, meaning you can park all day for just £2.50. Simply bring your car park ticket to Derby Museum and Art Gallery or the Museum of Making to be validated.

Will all of the rams be there?

All 30 of the giant rams will be at the RamUnion Weekend. In addition, all of the painted mini rams from schools that were submitted will also be on display.

If I arrive early or late will I be allowed in?

You will not be admitted to the site outside of the time slot allocated on your ticket.

How do I get my ticket?

You will not need to print or bring your ticket with you, as we will have a list of names on the door when you arrive.

When should I arrive for my time slot?

Can I pay on the day?

There are limited tickets available for each time slot, and we expect these to sell out, so we advise you to buy your ticket in advance to ensure you can get into the event at a time suitable for you. A small number of tickets may be available on the day but we cannot guarantee entry on arrival.

Do you have a refund policy?

All paid tickets are non-refundable and are non-transferable, unless Derby Museums cancel or postpones the event. However if you receive a positive COVID-19 test result, or are told to self-isolate by the NHS Test & Trace app, Derby Museums will provide a full refund of the individual(s) ticket.
