St Werburgh’s is an iconic building and was sold off as a church about 30 years ago, it has been an indoor market and Chinese restaurant and has been completely closed for the past 7 years.
On the 17th September 2017, St Werburgh’s reopened its doors with an evening service, which was the first to be held there for many decades.
