The Cathedral Quarter Co Ltd is a Business Improvement District company (BID) representing all the businesses in the Cathedral Quarter and oversees the implementation of the business plan voted in favour by the businesses in November 2012.
A BID operates on a five year term and this is the second Cathedral Quarter BID. The first ran from 2007-2013. The end date for this current term is 28 February 2018 and so businesses will vote in October 2017 to say whether they wish the BID to continue for a further five years (2018-2023).
The BID is project managed by Partnerships for Better Business UK Ltd (pfbbUK).

A considerable amount of research has been undertaken by the BID involving surveys from businesses, workshops and one to one meetings.

4 Oct BID Ballot papers are mailed to businesses and liable account holders
2 Nov Voting closes at 5pm
3 Nov Result to be announced
Dec - March Subject to a 'YES' vote, transition between current BID Plan and the plan for 2018-2023
